How do I book my holiday

 

Booking is a simple process. Simply decide where you want to go based on our advice and your research, or call or e-mail us with questions or to receive our recommendations. Then contact us with details of dates and the destinations you would like. We’ll then get back to you asap with availability.

Once your surf holiday package is confirmed, you book your flights through an ATOL registered company. This ensures that your flights are financially protected. Then simply fill out our booking form and send it to our UK head office. All monies paid to the company will enter a trust account, in compliance with the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 (SI 1992 No 3288), which is supervised by an independent trustee.

Because you need to know what you can expect of us, and we need to know what we can expect of you, please take a few minutes to read our terms and conditions. It is essential that you take out travel insurance, as with any holiday. If you are surfing please make sure that you are covered for surfing. Once you have booked your flights, the payment for your holiday should be paid in full to Errant Surf Holidays. A donation is made per booking to Surfers Against Sewage to help fight to keep our sea clean.

Do you organise flights?

 

To allow you to take advantage of low cost flight options and so that you can travel when best suits you, we do not book flights.  However we can assist you in obtaining the right flights by giving you the contact details of an ATOL (Air Travel Organisers' Licensing) holder and we then organise all of your travel and requirements from the airport onwards.  By ensuring that you are booking with an ATOL holder you can rest assured that your flights are financially protected.

What is ATOL?

 

ATOL is the Air Travel Organisers'  Licensing scheme. It bonds your flight, so should the flight company go into insolvency then you will still be able to fly home. However this doesn't protect your surfing holiday. Some companies display an ATOL membership symbol but primarily only sell holidays without flights. We believe that this is deliberately misleading customers. ATOL protection only covers you if you buy flights as part of your package - and since we don't sell flights an ATOL membership would not give you any protection. However, we do follow the practice and guidelines for ABTA members laid down by EU and UK law. Errant holds its own trust account for your actual surf holiday protection in line with the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992.

What customer protection do you offer?

 

All monies paid to Errant Surf Holidays will enter a trust account, which is supervised by an independent trustee; administered by T Gibbs. Your funds are held in this account and will not be released until you have returned from your holiday. In the unlikely event of the company becoming insolvent, your payment is protected by the company's trust account, so your peace of mind is guaranteed. This means that your money will be refunded in the event of our insolvency.

What if my partner doesn't surf?

 

We can either get them surfing with one of our surf school packages or we recommend the best option that will suit you both.  We can arrange excursions from all destinations, so your partner won't get bored on the beach! Most of our surf packages come with a non-surfing option and we will take the time to ensure that your holiday will be perfect for them as well as you.

What if I can't see what I'm after?

 

We can customise any of our packages to suit your needs. Just give us a call to discuss what you’re searching for and we’ll be more than happy to help create that perfect experience. 

What day should I arrive in the destination?

 

At the majority of our destinations you can arrive whenever you wish - any day, anytime.  We can craft your holiday to work around your availability and requirements and arrange transfers to suit your travel dates and times. 

Do you have a brochure you can send us?

Due to the environment and a constant increase in our surf holiday programme, we feel a printed brochure would damage the environment and would be out of date on the day it is printed. Our commitment to the environment, combined with our ever-increasing programme of surf holidays means that a printed brochure is impractical - not only would it damage the environment, but it would be out of date on the day it was printed.

Can I pay a deposit or is it full payment?

 

Deposits are no longer possible for any Errant surf holidays. We do allow deposits for group bookings. Further details can be found in our terms and conditions.
